work at home opportunities that actually work, are legitimate, and are not scams.can anyone help?

XtraSalty asked:

Hi all,
I see countless infomercials and street signs which talk about making big money and getting paid well through these bogus work-at-home opportunities, and I find that many of these opportunities are scams through copious amounts of research. I’m wondering if there are any work-at-home opportunities that: (1) actually work, (2) are legitimate, and (3) are not scams. If anyone knows of any good opportunities, I’d really appreciate it.

There’s what known as the “law of averages.”
It applies here: any of the many ads you see for
    work-at-home oportunities look for interesting.
Don’t they? And why shouldn’t they? Making $$$
for a very small investment is a very popular idea.
    And it always has been.
But there are too many scams out there to be
able to make finding the legitimate ones worth
your while. (Ever heard of “looking for a needle
    in a haystack?”)
Or, better still, take this one into account–another
classic and very true saying: “If it sounds too good
to be true, it probably is.”

I’ve been working from home for 9 years: started in eBay and also desktop publishing.

I fell into the Momswin/ FourPointMoms (owned by cattle farmer Vandersloot IE: melaleuca) and multiple direct sales mlm type companies I literally tried them all for 3 years! I had 20 years in sales in a b2b corp environment with great success. However, to much dismay…. I never made much in direct sales. (some people do: but it’s just a numbers game if you like that kinda thing go for it) Even with my friends and family buying…it just never took off, and after awhile I just didn’t like the companies anymore.

I then found through a lead I bought while searching for my next “business partner” a nice girl who was looking for work at home real job just like me: She told me about a company called West. From that day on 2 years ago I’ve been in the virtual call center world. Working as a Independant contractor for several companies! It’s great! But you have to have certain things: high speed isp: no dial up: landline phone: no features: headset: dedicated quiet office: Good phone skills, good typing skills.

Do not believe those tv commercials.

I did buy a REI course: and I flipped one house! Was a lot of fun! But a little scary too! Would like to do some more though!

I work for a new home based company that is 100% free and totally different. It’s legitimate and not like anything else around. There is nothing to sell, no meetings, and all the tools are free. It’s an honest company with good morals and we are trying to help everyone who wants to work at home and make some extra money. Again it’s free so you have nothing to lose.

It is possible to work for an honest company, at home with no cost. No matter what people may say. Let me know if you want more info.

I run a home based business that actually works. We were even featured in USA Today last week. There will be people who say every home business is a scam and those are the people who probably quit!

Those signs on the street are usually MLM business not jobs. It takes a lot of hard work doing a business and you really only get what you put into it. With anything, if it sounds too good be true it probably is.

The most common work at home jobs is phone work. There are a number of legit companies that do inbound calls and some that do lead generation as well.

Actually yes! I have finally found a free legit site that gives you a list of companies looking for people to work at home. I have found one called Work at Home agent its pretty popular. I now take calls for infomercials that appear on tv..and Im training to be certified to take calls for Virgin mobile! I would encourage anyone serious about working from home to check out the site. Its free, you pay nothing you dont even have to give them your email. You apply DIRECTLY with the company. Good luck =]
