Real work at home jobs?
Are there any work at home jobs that are not scams? I am not looking to make a million dollars a month. Iam looking for a legal, real job that I can do from home, or something like mystery shopping. Does anyone have any experience with either of these. I work odd hours and can not find a second job that will work around my schedule
Also, where can I look into the business. I know of the BBB, but is there anyother way to check out a company?

Selling AVON is a home job.. You are your own boss, you set your own hours. You can also recieve health, medical, dental and retirement insurance. You might not make millions your first month, but then again, I have seen people make $1,000’s on orders.. You make as much or as little as you want.. If you want more information just contact me.. Online selling on Amazon and Ebay are excellent ways to market your goods. Also try MSN, Google, or Yahoo online selling businesses.

Hello, if you are interested in working from home, this is a great business. First of all I want to tell you I have checked out tons of work at home jobs..going to extremes of looking them up on the Better Business Bureau website..all the ones I have found have a NEGATIVE file..then I came across this work at home job..looked them up and they are satisfactory..they have been in business for 9 yrs now. I took the first step by giving them a chance and it is the best decision I have made for myself..they train, give you everything you need to actually make money and everyone who works for them are extremely helpful. I urge you to look over their site and watch the video that is presented (which tells you what the business is about and how you make a profitable paycheck). Just thought Id let you know about this because I have went thru the same thing you are going thru..looking at tons of online jobs to find nothing but a waste of my time. If you don’t have training or a skill that is in demand, I think it is difficult to earn much with at home jobs. In the past I’ve been a merchandiser but it did require visits to retail locations to restock displays and I ended up paying out plenty in self-employment tax as an independent contractor.
I think your best bet is to start a home-based business. The simplest way is to become a company rep or distributor. As a rep or distributor you have the support of a company and products that someone else is taking the time to test and make. Any self-employment taxes can be offset with deductions for your business expenses (lincluding things like your computer, ink, paper, internet provider, cell phone, and even your car, lunch & dinner with friends (if your business was discussed!) business and business trips to company meetings and functions which are often a fun vacation!).
Just realize that if you want to make some money you need to invest time, money (usually both) to build a home-based business. Make sure the company is solid - there are a lot of “fly by night” start-ups out there. The BBB is one thing you can check, but also do your own independent investigation. Expect to pay at least a small investment for something that will be profitable. Most of the ones you can get into for free don’t have much of a profit margin to be worth your effort. You will need to do a lot of volume if you will only get 20%-30% commission.
Don’t be afraid of “selling” a product or opportunity to others. You don’t want to twist anyone’s arm or “sell” anyone anyway. You just want to choose a company and good products that the majority of people use. It helps if the products are something you like to use yourself and then just tell others. The sales come naturally if you just make an effort to talk to people and tell them about the products in the same way you would tell someone about any other product you tried and liked.
It takes time and persistence to build a large income from a home-based business and it grows as you grow belief and confidence in yourself. It’s a great “on the job” education! If you only need to make a few hundred dollars a month initially and don’t need to make a million dollars right away you are in the best possible situation.
Unfortunately many people who start a home-based business are desparate and broke and are disappointed when they discover that it takes an investment in time and money to build a business that will provide them with the significant amount of income they want.
After some time and research I found a company has products I love, is solid and growing with great management, has a great profit margin and compensation plan and I’m seeing my income steadily increasing as my customer base and team grows.
