Like flag burning it is considered a right of free speech.

They aren’t total scams… some people actually DO make money at them. If someone is willing to fall for it, that is their business.

Working at home is not illegal. If more people would do their civic duty and report these scams, then they wouldn’t be able to operate. “Work at home scams” are already illegal. But just like any other law, without effective enforcement, it is impotent and useless. Therefore, help out by ferreting out these illegal scams and reporting them to your FBI, your local authorities, your banks, etc.

Because the people who MAKE the laws aren’t affected by these scams. You have to remember that any problems that affect people who DON’T have money or power are of little or no consequence to those who do. Why else is it, for example, that the government is sending even more troops to Iraq when not a single child of theirs is going…?

A number of work at home scams ARE illegal pyramid schemes under a number of federal laws. The problem is, like a lot of these schemes, people can move from town to town, change business names, avoid detection.
