   Most opportunities online are not jobs. They are self employment opportunities. Some are extremely lucrative, some, like you say are scams.

   If you are looking for an employer that gives you $X amount for X amount of hours, you may have to look in the real world for that security.

   I think the point of paying for information about making an income online, is that the person offering this information spent a good deal of time figuring it out.

   The idea is that she makes her own income online, but she also makes money showing others how to do it. I don’t think thats scammy. It depends on your mindset. I have made my money back and then some using these peoples concepts and instructions.

   My personal opinion is that the employers are the real scammers, they get $170 per hour for the work an employee does and pay’s the employee $15 per hour and they keep the rest.

   Thats an hourly scam I would rather try and avoid if at all possible.

   There are people working online and making much more than an average wage. I was reading this article recently that you may find to be of interest.

   If you want to work from your computer at home, you are probably going to have to do it as a business owner, rather than as an employee. There are no online work-at-home “jobs”.

   When you apply for a job offline, in the bricks and mortar world, do you have to pay anything? Of course not. It should be the same in the online world. If you are asked to pay any money, at best, it is a business opportunity, but more likely it is just a scam.

   Be very careful that you don’t get scammed.

   I do affiliate marketing online. I’ve been doing it for a year and I’m getting ready to quit my regular job, as I am now making over $10k per month. It takes dedicated work, at minimum a small amount of initial working capital, decent organizational skills, and persistence, but you can make a living at it if you stick with it.

   But that is a business.

   If you want something easy, with no investment, you could probably make $500 to $1000 per month getting paid by companies to write postings on blogs about their products. That’s about the only legitimate way that I know of to earn money online without any investment.
